In October we had a nice highlight in the Geographie lessons of classes 5 and 7 of Mrs. Golbeck: Mrs. Esperanza Barracaldo (Manager of the CC Red Sea and born in Columbia) invited the students on a tour to the columbian country side. She shared her impressions of a stay last summer in a columbian school which was rebuilt after being destroyed by a hurricane. Further on, she told the students about the original inhabitants of Columbia, about their habits and traditions. The students learned a lot about the foreign culture and could also taste typical columbian sweets. The students of class 5 made a poster for Mrs. Barrcaldo with their impressions to thank her for this extraordinary event.
