The DSH school building is located opposite the Siva Grand Beach Hotel on the promenade of Hurghada. In addition to the generously designed classrooms on two floors, the building has comfortable reading and relaxation corners as well as a computer room. Meals are served buffet-style in the school’s own restaurant.

The kindergarten is located in its own villa area on the school grounds. In addition to the group rooms, there is a common room with its own restaurant area. Above this are the group rooms of the preschool. The outdoor area of the villas offers two climbing frames as well as a Bobby-Car race track for the children. On the large outdoor area there are lawns with ball games and swings. A jogging track runs around the entire grounds.

The newly constructed GIB building is home to the Einstein Room, which serves as a self-study center and library for students in grades 10-12, as well as physics, chemistry and biology labs.

The neighboring Cultural Center “CC Red Sea” houses the House of Music, where students’ music classes are held, the House of Art with a bright painting studio with an outdoor terrace, and a sports room.

Our student library is also located in the Cultural Center and is available to students during the lunch break. During this time, books can be borrowed or returned. The books are marked with a system of colored dots so that students know which works are for their age group. The books can be checked out for 2 weeks and then renewed for another 2 weeks.

A place of encounter and exchange or simply “just” a meeting place – the Cultural Center Red Sea is located right next to the German School. Here, not only parents or teachers like to meet for a coffee in the popular café “Green Camel”. Cultural events are held regularly, shaping the community of nationalities in Hurghada – open to all and a place where cultures and nationalities meet.

Book exchange: The selection of books is extensive. There are Arabic, Polish, German and English books that everyone is allowed to borrow or exchange for a book they brought themselves.

Venue: The “CC” is open to anyone planning an event and looking for suitable premises. Whether it’s a birthday party or a community meeting – Manager Mohammed provides support in all matters of organization.
